Surrounded by high sagebrush desert with the Green River running the entire length of the refuge, Seedskadee is the largest National Wildlife Refuge in Wyoming.

The mission of the facility is to provide visitors with a true understanding of the region, habitats, wildlife and history of this area, as well as to promote stewardship so that visitors will take a proactive stance in their approach to the environment.

The Roybal Corporation was contracted by USFWS in 2003 to plan and design the exhibits for the Visitor Center. As visitors enter the facility, they will encounter a diorama featuring a full-scale taxidermy moose. Native to the area, moose are one of the primary reasons visitors come to Seedskadee.
