“Peace through unity”

The Roybal Corporation implemented the design and provided contract administration services for the construction of the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument Indian Memorial. The purpose of the monument is to promote “Peace Through Unity” while honoring and memorializing the native peoples who fought to preserve their land and historic culture at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. The project site is located within a National Monument on the Crow Indian Reservation and is situated in an area where the historic battle took place.

The winning design concept from Philadelphia designers John Collins and Alison Towers was the product of a national competition. The Roybal Corporation has worked closely with the winning designers, the Indian Memorial Selection Committee and the National Park Service to implement and bring to life the design vision. Our expertise in producing workable construction documents and building consensus made this long standing dream a reality while protecting the delicate environmental and archaeological resources of the site.
