“People Sharing Stories”

In 2017, The Roybal Corporation was selected to create a conceptual design for the Louisville Historical Museum based on the Louisville Museum Campus Master Plan. The 2017 approved Master Plan identified the need to construct a new building that would serve as a visitor center and provide space for programs, meetings, exhibits, archival storage, and staff offices.

The Roybal Corporation worked closely with stakeholders and the community to develop a conceptual plan that would meet all of the requirements contained in the Master Plan and also respond to the opportunities and constraints of the site. The conceptual design developed for the museum will now provide the foundation for the continuation of the 30% design development for the Louisville Museum Campus Plan.
