A Celebration of Cultural Diversity.

The University of Wyoming Anthropology Museum offers exhibits related to the four subfields of the discipline: Biological, Linguistics, Cultural, and Archaeology. Through a dynamic graphic presentation and an unparalleled artifact collection, the main gallery will present a comprehensive view of “The Human Odyssey.” From the first hominins in Africa to migration around the globe, to the Native Americans of the Great Plains, and finally, to a discussion of the preservation of cultural diversity in our rapidly shrinking world, the University of Wyoming Anthropology Museum is a true celebration of cultural diversity.

The museum will highlight the extensive Native American heritage throughout this region while other displays featuring archaeological research and cultural diversity will be found throughout the building, emphasizing Wyoming’s role in the development of the anthropological record.
